About the wine – Vintage 2003
Basically an Apricot Orchard and re planted with Shiraz vines in 1974. Subsequently the name Apricot Block. Dangerous nose of dark cherries, zest and a lick of liquor. Full rich kind of dark chocolate & cherries and a curious unmistakable saltiness. Great length of flavour, it’s difficult to depict a wine of the monstrous extents and offset.
